Today marks a milestone that feels both a lifetime away and as close as a heartbeat. It has been 25 years since I said my last goodbye to my father my 爸爸 (Baba).

When I look at these photos, I don’t just see the past; I see the literal blueprint of the KNg Dynasty. My brand is the bridge I am building between two powerful family roots: the Knauls and the Ng (伍).

The Anchor of My Heritage 

In that ornate, golden chair, my father looks every bit the patriarch. That smile was the light of my childhood. Seeing us together on the sofa, me tucked under his arm, I see the safety and strength of the Ng lineage. He taught me that our name carries weight, history, and a responsibility to those who come after us.

KNg Dynasty is more than a lifestyle movement; it is a tribute to the fusion of two families. It represents the Knauls and the Ng coming together to build something greater. It is about cultural empowerment and the truth that we are the culmination of everyone who came before us.

45 Years of Life, A Lifetime of Impact

The most bittersweet memory is his 45th birthday. He saw 45 years and was gone just weeks later. He didn’t get to see me build this brand or see the 伍 name woven into this movement, but every time I design a piece or speak about our roots, I am carrying him forward.

My Why

I build because he can’t. I create because the Ng legacy didn’t end 25 years ago it took a new form through me. We are the connection between our ancestors’ sacrifices and our children’s futures.
