We didn’t know “yes” could hurt this much.
When we said yes to God, it felt good at first. The music was right. The social media posts looked inspiring. The community felt like family. But then came the reality: God will start with a convenient yes, but He will never settle for it.
Some of us are comfortably placed in church, but comfort has never been the evidence of discipleship. Saying “yes” to Christ is not about fitting Him into our lives like a filter or hashtag it’s about surrendering everything.
Jesus makes it clear in Luke 9:23:
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Convenience won’t carry a cross. Comfort won’t crucify your flesh. And culture won’t sanctify your spirit.
When Yes Becomes About You
Let’s be honest. Some of us said yes because it looked good. Because it was trending. Because everyone around us was doing it. But if your “yes” puts you in the center it’s not for Him.
God isn’t looking for fans. He’s looking for followers.
Fans love the hype, but disciples embrace the cost.
Fans want benefits without sacrifice, but disciples take up the cross.
Discipleship isn’t assumed. It’s chosen.
The Weight of a True Yes
Your yes will not look like mine. Your cross won’t look like your neighbor’s. But the weight—the sacrifice, the surrender is the same.
A true yes walks away from something. It lays down comfort, pride, and control. It says:
-
Jesus first—not my backup plan.
-
His will first—not my desires.
-
His Kingdom first—not my platform.
Don’t confuse church attendance with submission. Don’t confuse posting a verse with living it out. Don’t confuse proximity to God’s people with intimacy with God Himself.
Following God is not the same as following Him on social media.
Leftovers Are Not Sacrifice
If you only give God what’s left, don’t call it sacrifice call it leftovers. The gospel was never designed to fit into your comfort zone. It was designed to kill your comfort.
True surrender looks like this:
-
Jesus at the center.
-
Daily sacrifice.
-
Holiness not as a word, but as a lifestyle.
Holiness isn’t proven in what you wear or post. It’s proven in what you practice behind closed doors. If your holiness can’t survive a late night, a locked door, or your search history then it’s not holiness.
Sanctification: The Dynasty Standard
Salvation can happen in a moment, but sanctification is a lifetime pursuit. It’s the daily process of being set apart made holy by the Spirit of God.
Sanctification isn’t hype. It’s not culture. It’s not a trend. It’s fire. It’s refinement. It’s transformation.
The world has tried to confuse us, to water down the standard of holiness. But KNg Dynasty was built on a truth that doesn’t compromise:
Holiness is not optional, it’s identity.
When you wear the crown of Christ, you don’t just represent a brand you represent the Kingdom.
Dynasty Call to Action
So here’s the question: Is your yes convenient or is it costly?
Convenience will get likes, but surrender will get favor. Validation fades, but God’s approval lasts forever.
Your yes will hurt. Your yes will cost you. But your yes will also transform you into who you were truly created to be.
KNg Dynasty doesn’t settle for casual Christianity. We are set apart. We are sanctified. We are warriors of the Word and heirs of the Kingdom.
Your yes isn’t just a phrase. It’s your crown.
✨ KNg Dynasty Word:
If your yes doesn’t demand surrender, it’s not a dynasty yes. Your crown was forged in sacrifice, not convenience.
