“Why was Jesus crucified?” she asked softly.
A question so profound, I couldn’t just give a bedtime answer. I promised her, “I’ll tell you in the morning.” Because some truths aren’t rushed. Some truths require pause, heart, and honor.
So now, in the light of day, I write this—not just for her—but for every child wondering, for every parent searching for the words, and for every heart that’s wrestled with the cost of love, the meaning of sacrifice, and the power of redemption.
The Story of a Different Kind of King
Jesus wasn’t just a man. He was a King. Not the kind crowned with gold, but with thorns. Not the kind who ruled through fear, but through love. He came from a lineage older than empires—a dynasty that began in heaven, woven through generations with prophecy, promise, and purpose.
He walked with the outcasts. He spoke to the unseen. He healed the hurting. He forgave the broken.
But power like that—love that pure—threatens systems built on pride, control, and fear. And so the world, confused by Him, chose to silence Him. The religious elite saw Him as a disruptor. The government saw Him as dangerous. The people were torn—some hailed Him as Savior, others shouted “crucify Him!”
But Why the Cross?
The cross wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t a mistake. It was a divine mission.
Jesus chose the cross.
Not because He was weak, but because He was willing.
He took on every lie, every mistake, every sin—past, present, and future—like a King shielding His people.
He died not just for us, but instead of us.
Because justice required a price… and love said, “I’ll pay it.”
A Story That Redefines Power
In ancient China, dynasties rose and fell with war, strength, and iron rule. But the dynasty of Heaven—the Kingdom Jesus came to reveal—flipped the script.
His throne was a cross.
His crown was made of thorns.
His robe was stained with blood, not gold.
And yet—He reigns.
This wasn’t defeat. This was victory.
The crucifixion was not the end. It was the beginning of a greater story. Three days later, He rose. He conquered death. He broke every curse. He opened the gates of eternity for anyone who would believe.
Why It Matters to Us—Today, in Our Family, in Our Dynasty
When my daughter asked why, she wasn’t just asking about history. She was asking about heart. About identity. About meaning.
And so I tell her:
“Jesus was crucified so we could live free.
So we could know we’re loved beyond measure.
So we could walk in power, purpose, and grace.”
At KNg Dynasty, we don’t just carry cultural legacy—we carry a spiritual one.
We teach our children that the greatest power is not control, but sacrifice.
Not fear, but love.
Not a dynasty built on domination, but one built on destiny.
To the Next Generation of Kingdom Builders
Dear daughter,
You are part of a divine lineage. You carry the strength of your ancestors and the love of your Savior.
Jesus was crucified so you could live like royalty—bold, free, fierce, and forgiven.
And that… is the legacy we pass on.
