There’s a quiet magic that happens at my kitchen nook. It’s my spot the place where the morning feels still and the steam from my hot water or tea creates a little veil between me and the rest of the world. Lately, though, something has changed in the view.
For a long time, it was the cardinals that caught my eye. But recently? It’s the Blue Jays. They’ve been showing up in numbers I can’t ignore, reclaiming the branches and demanding to be seen.
I decided to look up what it means when Blue Jays start crowding your space. The answer hit me right in the chest: they are symbols of protection, communication, and intelligence. Spiritually, they represent the courage to speak your truth and acts as messengers from loved ones who have passed.
Speaking My Truth
It’s funny how the universe and the Lord work in tandem. Lately, I’ve been feeling this pull to be more "real" than I’ve ever been. Not just in business or on a screen, but in my soul. I’m finding my voice and speaking my truth on things I used to keep tucked away.
Seeing those Blue Jays feels like a wink from the heavens. It feels like my dad is right there in my spirit, reminding me that the Ng legacy isn't just about a name it’s about the strength to stand tall. It’s a comfort that says, "I’m watching, and you’re covered."The Fire Within
But it goes deeper than just a sign from a loved one. My Father in Heaven has been sitting heavy on my heart lately. There is a fire in me that’s burning hotter than usual. It’s a hunger for the Holy Spirit to not just visit, but to abide to move into every corner of my life and stay there.
If you’ve felt it, you know exactly what I mean. It’s a peace that doesn't make sense to the world. It’s a joy that bubbles up even when things are chaotic. It feels amazing to be "on fire" for the Lord, and honestly, it’s a feeling I want to pour into everyone I meet.
A Movement of Spirit
At KNg Dynasty, we talk a lot about legacy and empowerment. But what is a legacy if it isn't rooted in truth? What is a movement if it isn't fueled by the Spirit?
The Blue Jay is bold. It’s loud. It’s bright. It doesn't apologize for being exactly what it was created to be. I’m taking that as my cue. I’m leaning into that protection, trusting my intuition, and letting that Holy Spirit fire light the way for everything we’re building.
Next time you see a flash of blue outside your window, don’t just walk by. Take it as a reminder to check your own fire. Are you speaking your truth? Are you letting the Spirit lead?
The view from the kitchen nook is a lot clearer today. The Jays are here, the fire is bright, and the mission is certain.
Stay bold. Stay real. Stay on fire.
